Stella McCartney has done it. Phoebe Philo and Riccardo
Tisci too. One word for what we think is the biggest obsession this Fall/Winter:
Tartan.
With these designers’ track records in starting frenzies and
obsessions among the masses (read: Celine luggage, pony hair slip ons, Stella
McCartney falabella and Givenchy dog printed t-shirts), we are willing to bet our
bottom dollar that tartan will creep into the hearts of many this season, if it
hasn’t already. We know we’re hooked!
Unfortunately, not all of us are able to feed our tartan
desires without leaving a hole in our pocket. Zara has been pretty nifty this
season thankfully, affording the opportunity to buy into the tartan obsession
without breaking the bank.
Tartan anyone?
