Bag to have: Proenza Schouler PS13

We're sure all you readers are familiar with Proenza Schouler's PS1 and PS11, but today we’ll be looking at their lesser known sibling: the PS13.

Although the PS13 is not as popular as it’s sister bags yet, we think that this bag has the potential to climb it’s way up to It bag status. Staying true to their mantra of understated designs when it comes to bags, designer duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez launched the PS13 last November and it has already been toted religiously by the likes of Kate Bosworth, Dakota Fanning and Beyonce Knowles.

It is not hard to understand why. An amalgamation of practicality and stylishness, the PS13 exudes the same cool vibe that it’s predecessor, the PS11, does. “Those who know, know.” It’s structured shape and sleek lines makes it perfect for you working ladies out there, and the front pocket on the bag not only adds dimension to the design, but serves as a great compartmentalizer as well. With a longer strap that makes it possible for the bag to be slung over the shoulder, the PS13 is not limited to being toted on the arm which allows it to sit well with a dressed down look as well.

It may not seem possible, but the PS13 might just have it all- functionality, style, and versatility. Oh, and the cool factor too.

Style crush: Dakota Fanning

Dakota schools us on simplicity!

Dakota Fanning has been on our style radar for some time now, and it’s about time we share with you guys just why we think her style is the bees knees. Opting for simple, understated pieces most of the time when she’s not on the red carpet, Dakota seems to have mastered the art of looking casual chic.

With her outfits revolving around key pieces like cotton/silk t-shirts that are extremely versatile and have high mileage, Dakota’s style is not only covet worthy, but attainable as well. To emulate her style, stocking up on a couple of t-shirts, a well-cut blazer and jeans/pants will do the trick. Always in simple, fuss-free, yet stylish ensembles, we can all take a tip or two from her in putting together the perfect casual chic outfit!

Put together your own Dakota-inspired versatile, casual chic style with the following Pink Flare pieces!

Steal Her Look!

Cut-out dresses rank high on the list this season. Subtly sexy, these dresses are an alternative to plunging necklines and high hemlines. Thanks to the strategically placed cut-outs, the dresses expose just a slice of the mid-driff in a modest, yet alluring way.

Steal Emma Watson and Rihanna's subtly sexy cut-out and smokin' hot style with Pink Flare's California Dreamin' dress! http://www.pink-flare.com/index.php/main/product/657/1

Steal Her Look!

Steal Her Look! - Nicole Warne from Gary Pepper looks absolutely très chic in a stripe crop top and pants. Steal her look with Pink Flare's Hot Lines top (http://www.pink-flare.com/index.php/main/product/650/1)

Here's a tip for wearing crop tops:

Proportions are key - If you have a cropped sweater, pair it with hip-hugging trousers. If you're wearing a bra top, avoid low-cut jeans and opt for mid-rise denim.

If you're not comfortable with showing too much skin, expose just a silver of it with high-waisted bottoms. This style really elongates the legs and gives you model-like proportions!
